Tyler Hubbard suffers fish hook injury on family camping trip

Country singer Tyler Hubbard had an unexpected accident during a family camping trip after a fish hook became lodged in his head.

The 39-year-old shared the incident on Instagram on Sunday, posting a video of his wife, Hayley Hubbard, carefully removing the hook while their three children looked on. He captioned the clip: "Breakfast had to wait..."

In the video, Hayley reassured Tyler as she worked to remove the hook, while one of their children comforted him by saying there was no need to worry because "Mom is just going to pull it out right away." Hayley successfully removed the hook, prompting relief and laughter from the family.

Hayley later shared highlights from the camping trip on Instagram, joking that the family would "try to avoid fish hooks in the head" next time.

The camping trip came shortly after Tyler hinted at more performances with former Florida Georgia Line bandmate Brian Kelley. Speaking to Chicago radio station US99, Hubbard said the pair had been spending time together and were hoping to organise shows next year after reuniting for several performances in recent months.

Earlier this month, Tyler and Hayley celebrated their 11th wedding anniversary. The couple renewed their vows last year in a ceremony attended by their three children to mark a decade of marriage.
