Usher Warns Fans Before Onstage Serenade After Viral Concert Moment

Usher addressed fans at his Birmingham, Alabama, concert after a viral onstage interaction with a fan during his Nashville show.

Before inviting anyone on stage for his performance of "Can U Handle It?", the singer told the audience, "Don't bring your ass up here if you don't wanna be here," adding that fans should only participate if they are willing.

The remark followed a Nashville concert where a fan appeared uncomfortable as Usher performed his signature onstage serenade. Usher paused the performance, saying, "I don't think she wanna be on the stage."

The fan, later identified as Gabrielle Cheyenne, told TMZ that she had attended the concert primarily to see Chris Brown and believed she might be brought on stage by him instead. She said she would have declined the opportunity if she had known it would be with Usher, stressing that her reaction was not personal and reflected her preference for Brown.

Usher and Chris Brown are currently touring together on the R&B Tour, which is scheduled to continue through December.
