Zendaya Praises Tom Holland as They Reunite for New Spider-Man Film

Zendaya has praised Tom Holland, calling him her "best friend" while attending the U.K. premiere of Spider-Man: Brand New Day in London.

Speaking to MTV UK, Zendaya said it has been a privilege to grow alongside Holland while making the Spider-Man films. "Tom, obviously, my best friend... he's the best," she said.

The pair first worked together on Spider-Man: Homecoming in 2016. After years of friendship rumours, they confirmed their relationship in 2021. They became engaged in early 2025 and have largely kept their personal lives private.

At the premiere, Holland said Zendaya brings him "an unbelievable sense of calm" and helps him stay grounded during the demands of filming and travel.

Zendaya and Holland recently appeared together in The Odyssey and are now returning to the franchise with Spider-Man: Brand New Day, which opens in cinemas on 31 July.
