Megan Moroney Cancels Denver Concert Mid-Show Due to Illness

Country singer Megan Moroney cut short her concert in Denver, Colorado, on Tuesday after becoming too sick to continue performing.

The 28-year-old performed three songs before telling the audience she was "extremely sick" and could not finish the show. Fighting back tears, she apologised to fans and said she wanted to give them the performance they deserved.

Moroney later confirmed on Instagram that cancelling the concert was "the hardest decision" she had ever made. She said she realised by the third song that she could not perform at her best.

The Denver concert has been rescheduled for 27 August. Tickets for the original show will be valid for the new date, while fans who cannot attend can request a refund from their original point of purchase.

Many fans shared messages of support online, wishing Moroney a quick recovery. It is not yet known whether her next scheduled concert in Portland on Saturday will go ahead as planned.
