Alaia Baldwin Aronow Avoids Jail Time After Entering Diversion Program Over Bar Altercation

Alaia Baldwin Aronow, the sister of Hailey Bieber, is avoiding jail time after entering a pre-trial diversion program over charges stemming from a 2024 altercation at a Savannah, Georgia, bar.

Aronow, 33, faces charges including simple assault, simple battery, battery and criminal trespassing. Court records show she entered the diversion program, which allows certain defendants to avoid traditional prosecution while completing court-ordered requirements. She is scheduled for an arraignment on Aug. 25 and may be required to attend classes and pay fines.

The charges stem from an incident at Club Elan on Feb. 24, 2024. According to a police report, security footage and witness statements alleged that Aronow forced her way into an employee bathroom after being told to use the public restroom.

One bouncer told police that Aronow pulled his hair, while another alleged that she kicked him in the genitals after he restrained her. A bartender also told police that Aronow threw a tampon at her after being asked to leave the bar.

Aronow initially denied throwing the tampon but later acknowledged doing so, saying she had acted in self-defense.
