Marking the end of the North American leg of the tour, the Grammy-winning singer shared an emotional message on Instagram thanking fans for their support.
“I love you… I cannot believe that this concludes the North American leg of the Eternal Sunshine tour,” Grande wrote. “I am overwhelmed with love and the deepest gratitude… I will cherish every moment.”
Grande will perform the tour's final show in London on September 1 before taking what her representative described as a “much-deserved break” from public-facing work and appearances. According to the representative, the decision follows “endless, ongoing public scrutiny,” despite the tour being a deeply positive experience for the singer.
The announcement comes amid renewed online discussion about Grande’s appearance after the release of her “Petal” music video, with some fans expressing concern over her weight while others criticized the public speculation surrounding her body.
Grande has also withdrawn from the upcoming West End revival of Stephen Sondheim’s Sunday in the Park with George, where she had been set to star alongside her Wicked co-star Jonathan Bailey.
Sources close to the singer say she plans to spend her break with family, friends, and boyfriend Ricky Alvarez after months of touring and work commitments.
