Glen Powell Reveals Josh Brolin’s Unusual Taste in Art: “He Loves Nudes”

Glen Powell recently shared a funny story about Josh Brolin’s taste in art while appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live!.

Powell, who is filming the second season of Chad Powers in Atlanta, said he stayed at Brolin’s home and quickly noticed the actor’s collection of nude artwork. Powell said his family also noticed the paintings and joked that Brolin “really loves nudes.”

The artwork later caused an awkward misunderstanding with a crew member during a Super Bowl gathering at Brolin’s house. The grip saw several portraits of Brolin and his wife, Kathryn Boyd Brolin, and asked Powell why he had pictures of Brolin in his home. Powell had to explain that they were actually at Brolin’s house.

Brolin is also an artist himself. In 2024, he worked with Dune cinematographer Greig Fraser on Dune: Exposures, an art book featuring behind-the-scenes photographs from the first two films, along with poetry written by Brolin.
