The “Today” host attended a US Open exhibition event at Arthur Ashe Stadium in New York on Tuesday. She watched Roger Federer play Andy Roddick and appeared on the blue carpet with her husband, Michael Feldman.
Guthrie wore a colorful floral dress with gold jewelry and clear heels. Her appearance comes about six months after Nancy Guthrie, 84, was reported missing from her home in Tucson, Arizona, on Feb. 1. Authorities continue to investigate the case, and several ransom notes have been released.
Guthrie has described the search for her mother as a period of “months of agony and unending trauma.” In a July Instagram video, she pleaded with anyone involved in the disappearance to provide information that could help locate Nancy.
The television host has taken several breaks from “Today” while dealing with her family situation and other professional commitments. She recently returned to the show after filming the upcoming “Wordle” game show, which she hosts.
During her return, Guthrie thanked her “Today” colleagues for their support and again urged anyone with information about her mother to come forward.
The Pima County Sheriff’s Department and the FBI are asking anyone with information to call 1-800-CALL-FBI. “Today” airs weekdays on NBC, while “Wordle” is scheduled to premiere early next year.
