‘Harry Potter’ Star Jessie Cave Says She Has ‘Less Shame’ About OnlyFans Work

Jessie Cave, who played Lavender Brown in three “Harry Potter” films, has spoken openly about using OnlyFans to help pay off her debts.

Appearing on the U.K. talk show “This Morning,” Cave said she does not have the wealth many people assume she has. Her role in the “Harry Potter” films was relatively small and took place about 20 years ago, she noted. As a mother, she said the high cost of childcare has also made finding traditional work difficult.

Cave launched an OnlyFans account in May 2025 focused on her hair rather than sexual content. She offers subscribers hair sounds and other “sensual” material aimed at people with hair fetishes.

She said the income has helped support her work as a struggling artist, including her one-woman puppet shows. “This is how I’m making a living as an artist,” Cave said, adding that she wants to feel less ashamed of the decision.

Cave was later barred from a “Harry Potter” fan convention because organizers considered OnlyFans to be associated with pornography. She called the decision baffling, pointing out that many actors who attend conventions have appeared in films and television shows featuring sex scenes or nudity.

Cave said she is not particularly upset about being excluded from future “Harry Potter” conventions. After more than 15 years of attending them, she said she has enough memories, photographs and wizard memorabilia, while a new generation of actors is now taking over the franchise.
