Hilary Duff Stuns Fans With Onstage Reunion With Ex Joel Madden

Hilary Duff gave fans at New York City's Madison Square Garden a memorable surprise during Wednesday's stop on her Lucky Me Tour by reuniting onstage with Good Charlotte's Joel and Benji Madden.

Introducing the brothers as two of her "day 1s," Duff welcomed them for a performance of the band's 2002 hit, The Anthem. She embraced both musicians before joining them onstage while wearing a Good Charlotte T-shirt.

After the show, Benji Madden shared a backstage photo on Instagram featuring Joel Madden, Nicole Richie, Hilary Duff, and Matthew Koma, captioning it, "Family night @ MSG. Love yall."

Duff and Joel Madden dated from 2004 to 2006 before going their separate ways. Joel later married Nicole Richie, while Duff is now married to musician Matthew Koma. Despite their past relationship, the two families have remained close friends, with Duff previously revealing that they regularly spend time together.
