Jessie J Stops Show to Remove Fighting Fans

Jessie J briefly stopped her performance at the Party in the Paddock festival in the UK after a fight broke out among concert-goers.

The British singer was performing when she noticed people fighting in the crowd. She first asked them to calm down, warning that the noise and tension were making the situation worse.

“This is alcohol and ego; just calm down,” Jessie told the crowd. She urged the people involved to take a breath and not “waste time on bad energy,” especially because children were nearby.

When her attempts to calm the situation failed, Jessie called on festival security to remove those involved.

“So many people have spent money on this show, to see me, so can you just get rid of them so we can carry on?” she said, drawing cheers from the audience.

“Take them out, we don’t need them here,” she added. She even offered to pay for an Uber to get the disruptive fans home.

Jessie also asked the audience to make room so security could escort the people out quickly. She then joked that the troublemakers should be given “a glass of water and some factor-70” sunscreen, adding to the light-hearted moment after the disruption.

The incident comes during a major period of change in Jessie’s personal life. Last month, she revealed that she and her partner of five years, retired Danish-Israeli professional basketball player Chanan Colman, had ended their romantic relationship.

The couple share a son and said they were focusing on co-parenting in a healthy and positive way.

Jessie’s announcement came two months after she confirmed that she was cancer-free. The singer was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2025 and later underwent a mastectomy.

Despite the interruption, Jessie was able to continue her performance after security dealt with the situation.
