KJ Biermann’s Life Behind Bars: Inside the 15-Year-Old’s Strict Juvenile Detention Routine

Kroy “KJ” Biermann Jr., the 15-year-old son of “Real Housewives of Atlanta” stars Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann, is following a strict daily routine while being held at Atlanta’s Metro Regional Youth Detention Center.

The Georgia Department of Juvenile Justice said detained youths typically begin the day with hygiene, cleaning their rooms and breakfast, followed by classroom instruction. Afternoons include more education, while evenings may involve recreation, dinner and individual or group counseling focused on behavior, life skills and personal development.

The facility also offers visitation, worship services, mentoring, music and creative arts, wellness programs and other activities. Meals rotate through options such as eggs and pancakes for breakfast, burgers, pizza and burritos for lunch, and chicken, steak and pasta dishes for dinner.

KJ has been in custody since Aug. 17 after being arrested on charges of aggravated sodomy and aggravated sexual battery. A hearing is scheduled for Sept. 1.

Court documents say a female classmate accused him of assaulting her at a Life Time fitness center in Alpharetta, Ga., on April 23. Police are investigating the allegations.

KJ has denied the accusations through his attorney, Jason Sheffield, who said the teenager is presumed innocent and asked the public not to prejudge the case. Zolciak has also denied the allegations and said she is confident that the evidence will establish the truth.
