Condor, who played Jubilee in the film, said she filmed more scenes than ultimately appeared in the movie and wants another opportunity to give the character a larger role.
“I desperately want to play Jubilee again, but I want to be utilized, and I want it to mean something,” Condor told Get Rec’d with Straw Hat Goofy. She described Jubilee as a vibrant and energetic character whose personality should not be reduced to a minor role.
In a separate interview with The Direct, Condor revealed that she has already spoken with Marvel filmmakers about returning. “I’m 10 years older now. I know more. Bring me back,” she said.
Marvel Studios is developing a new X-Men film directed by Jake Schreier. The announced cast includes Sadie Sink as Jean Grey, Kit Connor as Cyclops, Christopher Abbott as Professor X, Inde Navarette as Rogue, Maya Boyd as Storm, Samara Weaving as Emma Frost and Adam Driver as Mister Sinister.
Whether Condor will return as Jubilee has not been confirmed. The new X-Men movie is scheduled to hit theaters on May 5, 2028.
