Lynda Carter, 75, Draws Praise After New Instagram Post Promoting 'Super Troopers 3'

Lynda Carter, best known for playing Wonder Woman in the 1970s television series, received widespread praise from fans after sharing new photos on Instagram this week.

The post featured several images, including one of Carter relaxing in an outdoor bathtub with a martini. Fans filled the comments with compliments, with many saying she looked "timeless" and joking that she appeared to be "aging backwards."

The carousel also included photos with actor Brian Cox and director Jay Chandrasekhar. Carter used the post to promote Super Troopers 3, which is set to be released in theaters on August 7. She reprises her role as Governor Jessman, a character she previously played in the 2001 original film and its 2018 sequel.

Carter celebrated her 75th birthday on July 24. A former Miss World USA winner in 1972, she rose to international fame as Wonder Woman in the hit TV series that aired from 1975 to 1979.

Earlier this year, Carter was honored by the Paley Center, where she reflected on the lasting impact of Wonder Woman, saying the character continues to inspire audiences. She also attracted attention at Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week in 2025, appearing alongside her daughter, singer Jessica Carter Altman. Carter is also the mother of son James, whom she shared with her late husband, Robert Altman.
