Michael Strahan Welcomes Fifth Child

Michael Strahan is a father again. The Good Morning America co-anchor, 54, has welcomed his fifth child, a baby girl, with his longtime girlfriend, Kayla Quick, 37, according to TMZ.

The baby was born earlier this year, the report said. This is the first child for Strahan and Quick, who have been linked since 2015.

Strahan has four older children. He shares Tanita, 34, and Michael Jr., 31, with his ex-wife Wanda Hutchins. He also has twin daughters, Isabella and Sophia, 21, with his ex-wife Jean Muggli.

Quick, co-founder of wellness supplement company FIZZNESS, has largely stayed out of the public eye with Strahan. She joined him when he received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2023 and attended Isabella and Sophia’s high school graduation.

Strahan has often spoken about how important fatherhood is to him. In 2016, he said his children gave him strength and that family had become more important to him than ever.

The news of his new baby comes after a difficult period for the family. In late 2023, Isabella was diagnosed with medulloblastoma, a type of malignant brain tumor. Strahan later spoke about supporting his daughter through her treatment and trying to find hope during the difficult time.

Isabella completed her final round of chemotherapy and was reported to be cancer-free as of June 2024.
