Nicole Kidman Sizzles Alongside Troye Sivan in New “She’s the Best” Music Video

Nicole Kidman stars alongside Troye Sivan in the Australian singer’s new music video for “She’s the Best,” released Thursday.

Kidman, 59, appears in a skintight black dress with an oversized coat, leather gloves and dark sunglasses. Her character walks through the streets smoking a cigarette before entering a club, where Sivan performs alongside drag queens, including “RuPaul’s Drag Race” Season 15 winner Sasha Colby.

The video follows the song’s celebration of femininity and nightlife. Kidman watches Sivan perform from the front row before inviting him to dance with her. The pair eventually dance closely together, creating one of the video’s central moments.

Sivan, 31, said Kidman has long represented “the divine feminine” to him. The two previously worked together on the 2018 film “Boy Erased,” in which Kidman played the mother of a closeted teenager and Sivan portrayed another young man at a conversion therapy camp.

Sivan said he sent Kidman the song and visual references for the video. When she later called him from an unknown number during a Zoom meeting, he initially let the call go to voicemail before recognizing her voice in the transcription.

“She’s the Best” is the title track of Sivan’s forthcoming album, which is scheduled for release Oct. 9.
