Megyn Kelly Backs Martha Stewart in Meghan Markle Dispute

Megyn Kelly has backed Martha Stewart’s account of an alleged conversation with Meghan Markle at a recent California dinner party, rejecting claims that Stewart misrepresented the encounter.

Speaking on her SiriusXM show Tuesday, Kelly said she believed Stewart, 85, accurately recalled Markle discussing her recent reunion with King Charles. “Martha doesn’t spew s–t,” Kelly said, describing Stewart as “sharp as a tack.”

Stewart told People that Markle had “just gotten back from the palace” when she allegedly spoke about meeting Charles, 77. However, the dinner’s host later told Page Six that the account was untrue, saying Markle only mentioned that her family had enjoyed their European trip.

Kelly speculated that Markle’s representatives had responded to Stewart’s comments in an effort to discredit her. Guest Maureen Callahan also criticized Markle, calling her “her own worst enemy.”

The discussion also touched on Markle’s strained relationship with her father, Thomas Markle, who recently underwent a leg amputation. Kelly contrasted that relationship with Markle’s reported reunion with Charles, saying the king may ultimately reconcile with Markle and Prince Harry.

Stewart also questioned Markle’s transition from acting to lifestyle television, saying it was difficult to move from “princess” to “homemaking guru.” She had previously questioned Markle’s expertise and authenticity in July 2025.

The claims and counterclaims have not been independently established.
