North West Reveals the One Piercing Her Parents Won’t Allow

North West, the 13-year-old daughter of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, has opened up about her love of piercings and the one piercing her parents will not allow.

In an interview with Dazed published Aug. 24, North said she wants a bridge piercing but is not permitted to get one. She did not explain why her parents have said no.

North has already experimented with several piercings, including what appear to be dermal piercings on her thighs. She has also been seen with piercings on her hand, cheeks and fingers. Dermal piercings are placed beneath the skin and require time to heal.

Her changing appearance has become part of her personal style. Since debuting blue hair in June 2025, North has also worn a blacked-out grill and experimented with other bold looks. She later confirmed that the black teeth were temporary.

Kardashian has defended her daughter's choices, saying North is confident and does not worry much about criticism of her appearance. The mother-daughter TikTok account has also dismissed public concern about North's changing style.

North, who released her debut EP, N0rth4evr, at age 12, continues to use fashion and music as forms of creative expression.
