North West Says She Wants a “Regular Job” at Starbucks at 14

North West, the 13-year-old daughter of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, says she wants to get a “regular job” at Starbucks next year.

In a new interview with Dazed, North was asked what job she would have if she were not an artist. “I still wanna work. I wanna work at, like, Starbucks next year,” she said. “I want to have a regular job.”

North has previously talked about having several career goals. In a 2023 interview with i-D, she said she wanted to become a rapper, basketball player and artist, while also hoping to own Yeezy and SKIMS someday.

She now says becoming a professional basketball player is no longer part of her plans. Her main focus is music and art.

North also said she does not want to delay her music career, calling it something she genuinely enjoys and wants to pursue. She described her ideal day as going to rehearsal, working in the studio or performing at a big show.

The teenager also revealed that her parents do not allow her to get a bridge piercing, although she said piercings help people feel like their “full self.”
