Olivia Rodrigo’s Daisy Chain Fields Raises $20 Million for Women’s Charities

Olivia Rodrigo’s Daisy Chain Fields festival has raised $20 million for organizations supporting women and girls after philanthropist Melinda French Gates pledged to match the festival’s initial $10 million donation.

Rodrigo announced the original $10 million donation on Friday, saying the money would be shared equally among 10 nonprofit organizations. Before her headlining performance Saturday night, she thanked the artists who performed for free and the fans who attended the festival.

Rodrigo then introduced French Gates, praising her work supporting women and girls. French Gates announced that she would double the festival’s $10 million total, bringing the amount raised to $20 million.

The money will be divided equally among Baby2Baby, Black Mamas Matter Alliance, Center for Reproductive Rights, FreeFrom, Jhpiego, Johns Hopkins Center for Indigenous Health, National Domestic Workers Alliance, National Institute for Reproductive Health, National Women’s Law Center and Planned Parenthood.

Daisy Chain Fields, launched in 2026, featured performances from Chappell Roan, Mitski, Doechii, Bikini Kill, the Breeders, Garbage and others. Stevie Nicks, Karen O and Lilith Fair founder Sarah McLachlan also appeared as special guests.

KATSEYE was originally scheduled to perform but withdrew Thursday after member Megan suffered an injury.
