The couple announced the news in a joint Instagram post on Aug. 1, revealing that their son was born on July 30 weighing 8 pounds, 7 ounces.
“Thank you Jesus for another healthy baby boy! We are so in love with our little fam!” they wrote alongside hospital photos featuring their newborn and their older son, Major Yancey Tyler McCollum, who was born in August 2024.
McCollum, 34, and Hallie Ray married in March 2022. The family photos showed the couple with both sons, including moments of Major meeting his younger brother for the first time.
The birth came shortly after McCollum postponed concerts in Kansas City and Omaha to be with his family. In a July 29 Facebook post, the singer said he was heading home after a performance at Red Rocks because “family comes first.” The postponed shows have been rescheduled for September, with all tickets remaining valid.
The couple first announced they were expecting their second child in December 2025, sharing a Christmas-themed family photo and writing, “McCollum party of 4 next Christmas!!!!”
