Priscilla Presley Makes Rare Red Carpet Appearance in Spain

Priscilla Presley, 81, made a rare public appearance on the red carpet at the Remus Lifestyle Night event at Hotel Hilton Mallorca Galatzo in Spain on July 30. She wore a bright red dress with a matching crossbody bag and red lipstick, posing for photos with event host Marcel Remus and actress Mischa Barton.

The appearance comes months after the release of her memoir, Softly as I Leave You: Life After Elvis, published in September 2025. The book reflects on her life, including her marriage to Elvis Presley, their daughter Lisa Marie Presley, and the challenges she faced after Elvis' death.

Speaking to Hello! magazine earlier this year, Priscilla said writing the memoir took more than 11 months because it involved revisiting both happy and painful memories. She described Elvis' 1977 funeral as overwhelming due to the large crowds and intense media attention, saying there was little room for the family's private grief.

Priscilla, who was married to Elvis from 1967 to 1973, said they remained on good terms after their divorce and stayed connected through their daughter. She also said she believes Elvis, if alive today, would still be singing and touring because he loved performing.
