Rosie O’Donnell Says Wynonna Judd Is Her Only Friend Who Supports Trump

Rosie O’Donnell said Wynonna Judd is the only supporter of President Donald Trump among her friends.

Speaking on The Tangle podcast with host Kyle Ridley, O’Donnell said she has remained close to Judd despite their different political views. She said they avoid discussing Trump and that she is able to separate their political differences from their friendship.

O’Donnell has been a longtime critic of Trump. Their public feud began in 2006, when she criticized him on The View. Trump has continued to attack O’Donnell publicly, including threatening in 2025 to consider revoking her U.S. citizenship after she moved to Ireland.

O’Donnell said she does not understand why people continue to support Trump, citing what she described as his cruelty, criminal behavior, misogyny, racism and homophobia.

Judd has supported Trump and spoke at the White House about criminal justice reform during his first term. In 2017, she also publicly distanced herself from her sister, Ashley Judd, after Ashley criticized Trump.

O’Donnell said she has received a different reaction to Trump since moving to Ireland, where she claims people frequently tell her they dislike him.
