Street Outlaws Alum Chris “Block” Gordon Dies at 55

Chris “Block” Gordon, a racer known for his appearance on Street Outlaws, has died at age 55 following an accident at an Ohio racetrack.

Gordon’s death was confirmed by KD Motorsports Park in South Webster on Sunday, Aug. 23. The track said the accident happened the previous night during an event and that Gordon died as a result of the incident.

The racetrack said staff, medical personnel, firefighters and EMTs responded immediately and made every effort to save him.

Gordon had been scheduled to race that day and had promoted the event on Facebook, where he identified himself as the “race master.”

News of his death prompted an outpouring of tributes from friends and fellow racers. KD Motorsports Park described him as an “absolute legend” of the sport and asked fans to keep his family in their thoughts.

Gordon’s fiancée, Amanda Laport Grasty, also shared a tribute on Facebook. She said she was “shattered” by his death and described Gordon as her best friend.

“I lost my best friend and I don’t know how to navigate life without him in it,” she wrote.

Gordon is being remembered by members of the street-racing community as a respected racer and longtime local figure.
