Tom Hardy Confirmed to Return for ‘MobLand’ Season 3

Tom Hardy will return as Harry da Souza in Season 3 of Paramount+ crime drama “MobLand,” the streamer has confirmed.

The announcement puts months of speculation about Hardy’s future on the series to rest. Variety reported in June that Hardy was expected to return despite reported tensions between the actor, screenwriter Jez Butterworth and producer David Glasser.

The dispute became public earlier this year, with reports claiming Hardy had been fired. However, Variety reported that the situation was more complicated, with disagreements involving Hardy’s on-set behavior, Butterworth’s availability and Glasser’s approach to working with actors.

Director Guy Ritchie and Glasser were among those supporting Hardy’s return, helping resolve the creative differences.

Hardy will again play Harry da Souza, a fixer working for the Harrigan crime family, led by Pierce Brosnan and Helen Mirren as Conrad and Maeve Harrigan.

Season 2 of “MobLand” premieres September 18, with new episodes released weekly. The season follows the Harrigans as they face growing threats from rivals while struggling to maintain control of their fractured criminal empire. Harry is forced to navigate escalating tensions within the family.

Paddy Considine, Joanne Froggatt, Lara Pulver, Anson Boon, Mandeep Dhillon and Jasmine Jobson are also part of the Season 2 cast.
