Eva Green recovering after injury on Wednesday set

Actress Eva Green is recovering after being injured while filming season 3 of Netflix's Wednesday near Dublin, according to Entertainment Weekly. The nature of her injury has not been disclosed.

Reports say Green was treated by medics before being taken to a hospital. Production was temporarily paused while the filming schedule was adjusted. A production source told The Sun that producers "were taking no chances" and that Green is now recovering well.

Green recently joined the cast as Ophelia Frump, the sister of Morticia Addams (played by Catherine Zeta-Jones) and aunt of Jenna Ortega's Wednesday Addams. Her casting ended speculation that Lady Gaga would play the role.

In a statement released when her casting was announced, Green said she was excited to join the "dark and witty" world of Wednesday. Series creators Al Gough and Miles Millar praised her distinctive screen presence and said she was a perfect fit for the character.

Season 3 also features new cast members including Lena Headey, Winona Ryder, Andrew McCarthy, Chris Sarandon, Noah Taylor, James Lance, Oscar Morgan, and Kennedy Moyer.
