Adrien Brody Unveils Raising Cane's Mural in Times Square

Adrien Brody has created a new mural for Raising Cane's to celebrate the third anniversary of the chicken chain's global flagship restaurant in New York City's Times Square.

The artwork, titled Cane's Anthem, was commissioned by Raising Cane's founder Todd Graves and unveiled Monday. In a statement released by the company, Brody said the mixed-media collage honors Graves' journey from starting the business to building one of America's best-known restaurant chains.

The mural combines found materials collected around New York City, including torn advertisements, wheat-paste posters, street debris, and the Playbill from Brody's Broadway debut in The Fear of 13. Brody said these elements reflect the determination, energy, and entrepreneurial spirit of both Graves and New York City.

The artwork features the Raising Cane's Times Square restaurant as its centerpiece. Brody said it also recognizes Graves' philanthropy and commitment to bringing people together. The mural is now on display at the flagship restaurant.

Best known as a two-time Academy Award-winning actor for The Pianist and The Brutalist, Brody has also established himself as a visual artist. His large-scale collages often incorporate familiar American cultural symbols, and one of his Marilyn Monroe-inspired works sold for $425,000 at a Cannes auction in 2025.
