Alan Ritchson calls for release of Epstein files in podcast interview

"Reacher" star Alan Ritchson criticized political leaders and called for the release of the Jeffrey Epstein files during an appearance on Josh Horowitz's Happy Sad Confused podcast.

In an expletive-filled rant, Ritchson demanded that the files be made public, arguing that people linked to Epstein should be held accountable if they committed crimes. He also criticized what he described as a lack of action from those in power.

Without naming anyone, Ritchson appeared to refer to a powerful political figure, accusing the person of inappropriate conduct involving minors and saying they should be jailed. He did not provide evidence for the allegation.

Ritchson acknowledged that his outspoken comments could concern his publicist but said he is willing to speak openly about issues he believes matter.

The actor also discussed politics more broadly, revealing that former California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger has encouraged him to consider a political career. Ritchson said he is focused on acting for now but may consider entering politics in the future, saying he wants to help people who are overlooked and improve fairness and opportunity.
