Anthony Michael Hall says becoming a husband and father later in life was 'worth the wait'

Anthony Michael Hall says finding love and starting a family later in life has been the most rewarding chapter of his life.

The 58-year-old actor told People he considers his wife, Licia Oskerova, whom he married in 2020, his "soulmate." He said being a husband and father is now his most important role.

Hall and Oskerova welcomed their son, Michael, in 2024, when the actor was 55. He said their son is thriving after starting preschool six months ago and joked that the child already looks much older because of how quickly he is growing.

The couple originally planned a church wedding in Miami in November 2020, but the COVID-19 pandemic forced them to change their plans. They instead held a private civil ceremony on a Miami beach before renewing their vows in 2023 at their planned cathedral ceremony.

Hall shared that having his son present for the vow renewal made the occasion even more special. He said he feels "happy and so blessed" to introduce his family.

The former Breakfast Club star is currently appearing on the FOX competition series Nation's Dumbest, which airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET and streams the following day on Hulu.
