Frankie Grande Injures Nose During Broadway Performance of Titaníque

Frankie Grande is recovering after injuring his nose during a performance of the Broadway musical Titaníque.

The accident happened during Thursday's show at the St. James Theatre. Grande, who plays both Victor Garber and Luigi in the musical, was performing a scene in which he tosses a bright pink ship's wheel into the air. Instead of catching it, the prop struck him in the face.

Grande shared photos of his injury on Instagram, showing bruising on his nose. In a humorous caption, he joked that his nose caught the wheel before his hands did and said the accident may have caused a concussion. He also announced that he would miss several performances before returning to the show.

Titaníque is a comedy musical that retells the story of the 1997 film Titanic through the perspective of singer Celine Dion, featuring her songs throughout the production. Grande originated the roles of Victor Garber and Luigi during the show's early off-Broadway run and has continued with the production after its move to Broadway.
