Jon Bon Jovi Ends Madison Square Garden Show Early Due to Sinus Infection

Bon Jovi ended his Thursday night concert at Madison Square Garden early after singer Jon Bon Jovi told fans he was struggling with a sinus infection.

About 90 minutes into the show, Bon Jovi apologized to the audience, saying he was hurt and could not perform at his best. He asked fans to keep their ticket stubs and said the band would work on rescheduling or offering another opportunity to attend.

A representative later confirmed that the concert ended early because of Bon Jovi's illness and said more information would be shared soon.

The Madison Square Garden shows are part of Bon Jovi's comeback after vocal cord surgery in 2022. Earlier this year, the 64-year-old singer said he had fully recovered after a long rehabilitation and was grateful for the support of his bandmates.

The Thursday performance was the eighth of the band's nine-show residency at the venue. Bon Jovi is still scheduled to perform at Madison Square Garden on July 26 before continuing the tour in Edinburgh on Aug. 28.
