Julia Roberts attends Emma Roberts’ wedding in Idaho

Julia Roberts attended the wedding of her niece, actress Emma Roberts, who married actor Cody John during an outdoor ceremony in Idaho on Saturday, 25 July.

The Oscar-winning actress was joined by her husband, Danny Moder. Photos from the event were published by Page Six, while DeuxMoi also reported seeing the couple in Idaho before the wedding.

Emma Roberts, 35, wore a custom-made Monique Lhuillier wedding gown with a sheer shawl and long veil. She later changed into an archival dress by the same designer for the after-party. Cody John, 36, wore a brown suit.

The couple announced their engagement in 2024 after dating since 2022. Emma revealed the news on Instagram, joking, “Putting this here before my mom tells everyone.”

Julia and Emma have long shared a close relationship and have often spoken warmly about each other in interviews and on social media. Last year, Emma said she enjoys rewatching some of her aunt’s best-known films, including My Best Friend’s Wedding and America’s Sweethearts.
