Mel C Reportedly Marries Chris Dingwall in Intimate Lake District Wedding

Spice Girls singer Melanie Chisholm, known as Mel C or Sporty Spice, has reportedly married model Chris Dingwall in a small countryside wedding in England's Lake District.

According to the Daily Mail, fellow Spice Girls Emma Bunton, Geri Halliwell-Horner and Melanie Brown attended the ceremony. Mel C's 17-year-old daughter, Scarlett, was reportedly a bridesmaid.

The bride wore a backless white wedding dress designed by Victoria Beckham, who was unable to attend because she was in the US for previously planned commitments. Sources said Beckham was pleased to create the dress and sent her best wishes.

Guests described the outdoor wedding as elegant and intimate. The couple chose a quiet venue instead of a large celebration, although a herd of cows briefly interrupted the ceremony by running toward the venue.

Mel C, 52, and Dingwall reportedly met on the Raya dating app in 2023. In a 2025 podcast interview, she described him as supportive and said she knew he was someone worth getting to know.
