Paul McCartney Sings Rare Beatles Song at Taylor Swift's Wedding

Paul McCartney performed the Beatles' classic "I Want to Hold Your Hand" during Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding reception at Madison Square Garden on Friday, July 3, according to PEOPLE. The song had reportedly not been part of McCartney's live performances since 1964.

The reception also featured a performance by Stevie Nicks. Good Morning America hosts Robin Roberts, Michael Strahan, and George Stephanopoulos confirmed Nicks' appearance and described the event as an intimate celebration despite its large venue.

McCartney and Swift have publicly expressed admiration for each other over the years, including a 2020 Rolling Stone interview. In a recent BBC Sounds interview, McCartney said Swift does not need advice on handling global fame but joked he would gladly offer it if she asked.

Swift's public relations team said Adam Sandler officiated the ceremony, the couple wore Dior, and their siblings served as the only members of the wedding party.
