RHOC star Jennifer Pedranti says her son was involved in Orange County brush fire

Real Housewives of Orange County star Jennifer Pedranti confirmed that one of her sons was involved in a brush fire that burned about seven acres in Ladera Ranch, California, on Tuesday.

In an Instagram Story, Pedranti said her son and other boys were involved and apologized to the community. She called the incident "unacceptable" and said it was a serious learning moment for her family.

The Orange County Fire Authority said the fire was reported around 4:45 p.m. near Narrow Canyon Road and Acaster Way. Firefighters, supported by helicopters and a fixed-wing aircraft, brought the blaze under control within about two hours. No injuries or property damage were reported.

Pedranti did not identify which of her four sons was involved. She said no arrests were made, but her son will take a fire safety course and face consequences at home to help prevent a similar incident in the future.

The incident comes as The Real Housewives of Orange County begins its 20th season on Bravo.
