Elizabeth Olsen Reportedly Welcomes First Child With Robbie Arnett

Elizabeth Olsen appears to have entered a new chapter in her life: motherhood.

The “WandaVision” star was recently photographed walking through Los Angeles with her husband, musician Robbie Arnett, while carrying what appeared to be their newborn baby in a white carrier strapped to her chest.

Olsen, 37, kept a low profile during the outing. She wore a white outfit and a wide-brimmed hat, while another green hat helped shield the baby from the sun. Arnett, 34, kept things casual in shorts, a turquoise long-sleeved shirt and sneakers.

The sighting comes after Olsen was photographed in Southern California on Aug. 7 without a visible baby bump. Reports that the couple were expecting their first child emerged in June, although Olsen did not publicly discuss the pregnancy.

The actress had previously spoken openly about her hopes of becoming a mother. During a 2021 SiriusXM interview, she wondered when she might have her first baby and whether she was running out of time to start a family.

Olsen also revealed that she had discussed motherhood with Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige because of her work commitments. According to Olsen, Feige encouraged her to live her life and assured her that the studio would work around her plans.

That approach was particularly meaningful for Olsen, whose career has included major roles in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, including Wanda Maximoff.

Olsen and Arnett have largely kept their relationship private since they began dating in 2017 after meeting while on vacation in Mexico. Olsen later revealed that Arnett had moved into her home, but the couple rarely discussed their personal lives publicly.

In 2021, Olsen referred to Arnett as her “husband” during an interview with Variety. The following year, she confirmed that they had married before the COVID-19 pandemic. She explained that they had eloped and later held another wedding celebration.

Before her relationship with Arnett, Olsen was engaged to actor Boyd Holbrook, her co-star in “Very Good Girls.” The pair ended their engagement in 2015 after several years together.

If the recent photographs do confirm the arrival of Olsen and Arnett’s first child, the couple appear to be keeping the newest addition to their family just as private as they have kept their relationship.
