Harry Styles Jokes About Taylor Swift at Madison Square Garden

Harry Styles made a playful reference to his former girlfriend Taylor Swift during his concert at Madison Square Garden in New York City on Saturday, Aug. 29.

While addressing the crowd, Styles, 32, called the venue “home of the world champion New York Knicks” before adding, “And they also do weddings.”

The joke appeared to reference Swift’s recent wedding to Travis Kelce, which took place at the Manhattan venue on July 3. Styles and Swift dated from 2012 to 2013.

Swift, 36, and Kelce’s wedding was attended by numerous celebrities, including Ed Sheeran, Selena Gomez, Jennifer Lopez, Sabrina Carpenter, Brad Pitt, Tom Hanks, Bradley Cooper and Dakota Johnson.

Styles is currently engaged to Zoë Kravitz, whom he was first linked to in August 2025. He is also performing a 30-show run at Madison Square Garden as part of his Together, Together Tour, supporting his latest album, Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally, released in March.

In a recent W Magazine interview, Styles discussed how he handles the transition from performing to everyday life. He said he showers immediately after concerts, describing it as a way to “wash off” the intensity of being onstage.
