Jared Leto Accused of Persistent Unwanted Advances by Former Bartender

A former Michigan bartender has accused Oscar-winning actor and musician Jared Leto of repeatedly making unwanted advances toward her after she rejected him following a 30 Seconds to Mars concert in 2011.

Gracelisa Akers told Page Six that Leto invited her to his dressing room after the show, where she said he became increasingly physical by touching her hair, waist, hips, and hands despite her lack of interest. She alleges he later followed her to her car, urged her to skip plans with others and join him on his tour bus, and continued contacting her with repeated text messages after she left.

Akers said Leto later sent her what she described as a near-nude selfie intended for someone else, which she says reinforced her view that he would not accept rejection. She said he did not physically assault her but described his behavior as aggressive and entitled.

Her account comes after a BBC documentary featured four women alleging that Leto made sexual advances toward them while they were teenagers. The allegations include claims of sexual assault, statutory rape, and grooming. Leto has denied all of the allegations, stating: "I have never sexually assaulted anyone in my entire life. These claims are absolutely and categorically false."

According to Page Six, Leto has retained attorney Alex Spiro. The publication said it contacted Leto's representatives and Spiro for comment. Leto continues to perform with 30 Seconds to Mars, which has a European and UK tour scheduled for next year.
