Jessie Cave Says OnlyFans Earnings Surpass Her Acting Income

Actress Jessie Cave says her earnings from OnlyFans have surpassed what she made during her entire acting career.

Cave, best known for playing Lavender Brown in the final three Harry Potter films, joined OnlyFans in 2025 to help support her four children. She posts non-explicit “hair content” on the platform, where subscribers pay $6 a month, with additional fees for paid messages.

In an interview with The Times, Cave said she earned £15,000, about $20,236, in a single day. She said that within one year, her OnlyFans income had exceeded her total earnings from acting.

Cave said she initially expected to use the platform for only a few months after struggling financially and finding it difficult to secure acting work. “It’s now been over a year and a half and it’s genuinely saved our lives,” she said.

Her content focuses on her long hair and caters to a niche fetish audience. Cave said she remains fully clothed and has never posted bikini images, although she sometimes wears themed outfits, including those inspired by her Harry Potter character.

Cave acknowledged that joining OnlyFans carries a stigma because the platform is strongly associated with pornography. She said her decision was driven primarily by financial pressure and a desire to feel visible again after having four children.

The actress continues to work in film, television and theatre, with credits including Black Mirror and Industry.
