Jodie Sweetin Says Separate Beds Help Her Marriage

Actress Jodie Sweetin has found an unconventional way to improve her sleep and her marriage: separate beds.

Sweetin, who has been married to Mescal Wasilewski since 2022, told the Good Guys podcast that the couple sleeps in two twin beds pushed together to create a king-size setup. They also use separate duvets, which she says prevents them from fighting over blankets during the night.

Sweetin said the arrangement works because she and Wasilewski have very different sleeping habits. She described herself as a deep sleeper, while her husband is easily awakened by even small noises.

The couple also maintain independent lifestyles. Sweetin said they enjoy pursuing their own activities and traveling separately, while still sharing their life together.

Their long-term dream is to own a property with several tiny homes, including one for each of them and a larger shared home in the middle.

Sweetin, 44, has been married four times and has two daughters, Zoie and Beatrix. She joked that after several marriages, having some personal space can be a good idea.
