County officials said the inspection was carried out to check buildings linked to a facility reported to house more than 100 dogs. They also said the property's kennel permits expired in 2023 and that previous attempts to contact Blair had gone unanswered.
Blair said the visit was a surprise and that the issues involved paperwork and updated site diagrams. She added that she has been trying to move the rescue operation for the past two years to improve its work and support more animals.
According to TMZ, Blair cooperated with the inspection, and no dogs were removed from the property. In a video posted on Instagram, Blair also encouraged people to support and donate to her Linda Blair WorldHeart Foundation, which rescues and rehabilitates abused and neglected animals.
