The actor visited the Anaheim, California, theme park with his wife, Luciana Barroso, and their daughters to celebrate Gia Damon’s 18th birthday. The family dressed alike in matching shirts that read “Birthday Crew,” making the occasion even more memorable.
Damon and Barroso posed with their daughters in front of Disneyland’s giant Mickey Mouse-shaped pumpkin on Main Street, U.S.A. The visit also came as Disneyland began its Halloween Time celebrations, giving the family an early taste of the spooky season.
Damon and Barroso have three daughters together: Isabella, 20, Gia, 18, and Stella, 15. Damon is also stepfather to Alexia, Barroso’s 27-year-old daughter from a previous relationship.
According to Disneyland, the family spent the day enjoying the park and celebrating Gia’s birthday. Their Disneyland outing was the latest in a series of high-profile family appearances surrounding Damon’s upcoming film, The Odyssey.
The family recently joined Damon during the movie’s international press tour. At the film’s South Korean premiere, Damon said he was especially happy to have his wife and two youngest daughters with him.
He explained that showing his daughters Korea for the first time and experiencing the country with them had been “incredibly memorable.” He also spoke about how emotional it was to see how much his children had grown.
The Disneyland trip came shortly after Disney’s D23 fan event, where the company announced a number of major projects and updates. Among the announcements were new details about Frozen 3, the live-action Tangled movie and several upcoming theme-park attractions.
Disney also revealed plans for new attractions inspired by Monsters, Inc., Coco, Avatar and Encanto, along with updates to Disneyland’s Tomorrowland.
For Damon, however, the latest Disney outing was less about movie news and more about family. With matching shirts, a giant Mickey pumpkin and an 18th birthday to celebrate, the day gave the actor and his daughters another chance to make memories together.
