Sandra Bullock, Nicole Kidman Surprise Fans at 'Practical Magic' Screening Ahead of Sequel

LOS ANGELES — Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman made a surprise appearance at a special Practical Magic screening at Hollywood Forever Cemetery, delighting fans ahead of the release of Practical Magic 2.

Bullock thanked the audience for their support and joked that the cemetery was the perfect place to watch the film. Kidman also thanked fans for helping make the sequel a reality.

The actresses introduced Joey King and Maisie Williams, who play Sally Owens' adult daughters in the upcoming film. Holding margaritas, the cast raised a toast "to the coven" with the audience, many of whom arrived dressed as witches or wearing Practical Magic merchandise.

The sequel reunites Bullock and Kidman with original cast members Stockard Channing and Dianne Wiest. Directed by Susanne Bier, the story follows the Owens family as they confront the curse that has haunted their lineage for generations after Sally's daughter begins uncovering hidden family secrets and developing magical abilities.

Practical Magic 2 is scheduled to premiere in theaters on Sept. 11, 2026.
