Rosie O'Donnell to Return as Guest for The View's 30th Season

Rosie O'Donnell says she will return to The View as a guest during the show's 30th season celebration, marking another appearance after two previous stints as a cohost.

Speaking on The Tangle podcast, O'Donnell said she plans to take part "in whatever way they want me" and believes the show is inviting back former hosts to celebrate its three decades on air.

O'Donnell said she is proud of what the program has become, especially its focus on politics and current issues. She also reflected on her earlier experiences, saying the workplace felt unstable and criticizing the show's management at the time.

The comedian has previously spoken about conflicts during her time on the show, including public clashes with former cohosts Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Whoopi Goldberg. She said she and Goldberg have since repaired their relationship, but has maintained that hosting The View was not the right fit for her.

O'Donnell first joined The View in 2006 and left in 2007 after an on-air confrontation with Hasselbeck. She returned in 2014 but exited again in 2015.

Created by Barbara Walters, The View premiered in 1997 and is expected to mark its 30th season by welcoming back several former cohosts.
