Ryan Reynolds Celebrates Blake Lively’s 39th Birthday With Heartfelt Tribute

Ryan Reynolds celebrated his wife Blake Lively’s 39th birthday on Wednesday with a heartfelt tribute on social media.

Calling August 25 “this family’s Super Bowl,” Reynolds praised Lively as a kind, courageous and brilliant person, adding that he feels lucky she was born.

The couple, who have been married for 14 years, have four children: daughters James, 11, Inez, 9, and Betty, 6, and son Olin, 3. They met while filming the 2011 movie “Green Lantern” and began dating soon afterward.

Reynolds has also publicly supported Lively during her legal dispute with “It Ends With Us” director and co-star Justin Baldoni. Lively accused Baldoni of sexual harassment and orchestrating a smear campaign, while Baldoni later sued Lively and Reynolds, alleging defamation and other claims. Both cases were largely dismissed, and the parties reached a settlement before trial.

Lively was later awarded $407,451.75 in legal fees. Reynolds was also joined in celebrating her birthday by his Wrexham co-owner Rob McElhenney and “Deadpool & Wolverine” co-star Hugh Jackman.
