Tori Spelling Says She’s Not Ready to Explain ‘9021OMG’ Exit

Tori Spelling says she is taking time before addressing her sudden departure from the 9021OMG podcast, insisting she wants to share her side of the story thoughtfully rather than react emotionally.

Speaking during an Instagram Live with former Beverly Hills, 90210 co-star Brian Austin Green, Spelling said she plans to “really assess” and “reflect” before discussing her exit. Green supported her decision, saying she needed time to gather her thoughts.

While Spelling did not confirm whether she might return to the podcast, she encouraged fans to continue supporting co-host Jennie Garth and producer Amy Sugarman as they continue recapping Season 8 of Beverly Hills, 90210.

Spelling first announced her departure in July, explaining she wanted to focus on other projects. Garth later described the news as “sad” but said she respected Spelling’s decision to prioritize herself, while Sugarman emphasized that leaving the podcast was entirely Spelling’s choice.

The exit has fueled speculation about Spelling and Garth’s longtime friendship. Although a source previously denied any falling out, another insider claimed the relationship has become strained, alleging Garth was absent during Spelling’s personal challenges and had sidelined her in podcast-related matters. Neither Spelling nor Garth has publicly addressed those allegations.
