Sean “Diddy” Combs’ Prison Release Date Moved to February 2028

Sean “Diddy” Combs’ projected prison release date has been moved again. The Federal Correctional Institution in Fort Dix, New Jersey, now lists his release date as February 5, 2028.

The latest change comes weeks after Combs was released from solitary confinement following an altercation with another inmate.

In July, the Federal Bureau of Prisons confirmed that Combs’ release date had been moved from February 23, 2028, to January 24, 2028. The agency’s website later listed February 20, 2028, before the latest update.

Combs, 56, was reportedly involved in a physical confrontation with another inmate at Fort Dix in July. According to TMZ, the two men scuffled and pushed each other after an exchange of insults. Prison staff separated them, and Combs was subsequently placed in solitary confinement.

He was released from solitary confinement in August, according to TMZ. The Bureau of Prisons declined to comment on Combs’ housing assignment or any potential disciplinary proceedings, citing privacy and security concerns.

Combs was convicted last year on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution. He was acquitted of two counts of sex trafficking and one count of racketeering conspiracy. He was sentenced to 50 months in prison and transferred from the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn to Fort Dix.

Combs also continues to face numerous civil lawsuits alleging sexual assault, drugging and trafficking. He has denied the allegations and maintained his innocence.
